FEAST helps local families and individuals (our ‘guests’) on very low incomes by providing a range of fresh food and non-perishable groceries each week, and personal hygiene/household cleaning products at our hygiene hub. We run two community larders and a hygiene hub, and offer school holiday lunches for families. We also offer special events for our FEAST guests, such as cookery lessons and activities for our guests’ children, as well as lunches for individuals and couples.
Working with other organisations and charities locally is also a big part of what we do, as we get to know our guests and are able to signpost them to access additional support where needed. Many of our partners locally come and offer support in person at our larders.
Feast Fresh larders & hygiene hub
We run two community larders and a hygiene hub in Tonbridge for families and individuals on a low income. You will need to book to use our larders and hygiene hub, but there is no referral needed.
Two of our larders (at St Stephen’s Church and Tonbridge Methodist Church) offer both fresh food and store cupboard essentials, whilst our hygiene hub at the Oaks Specialist College provides personal hygiene and household cleaning products only.

Well-being Wednesdays
Once a month we hold a Well-being Wednesday where we invite to our larder (at Tonbridge Methodist Church) local partners and organisations that can provide additional support to our guests. The TMBC Housing team, Involve, Porchlight and many others are regular visitors.
Our Saturday morning larder at St Stephen’s Church similarly invites local agencies to support our guests.
For news of our well-being days and visitors, please keep an eye on our Facebook page.
Lunches
During the school holidays, we hold a number of guest family lunches, with activities for children.
At other times we host lunches for our adult guests (individuals and couples) who do not benefit from attending the family events.

Special events
Throughout the year we offer special one-off events and activities. These can be events for guest families or children, or activities for our individual guests.
Please watch this space for news of any upcoming events.

I really appreciate coming along to the larder. You get such a warm and friendly welcome. You don’t feel judged. Everyone gets it. Nobody judges you…the volunteers are just so lovely and welcoming.
